NEWSLETTER: SEPTEMBER

KICKIN' IT OLD SCHOOL

On Sunday, October 23rd, Phi Epsilon Kappa will be kickin’ it old school as we host our 4th annual Project Kickball tournament. Teams from a variety of organizations on campus compete in a tournament style competition with hopes of departing with the highly coveted golden kickball. In between games, participants can enjoy a snack at WE-Fit’s DIY Trail Mix Bar, participate in raffles for a chance at some great prizes and partake in some good old fashioned fun in the sun.
Project Kickball is Phi Epsilon Kappa’s largest philanthropy event of the year, with all proceeds benefiting the Stockton YMCA. Last year the brothers of Phi Epsilon Kappa raised over $700 and this year we hope to raise even more. If you are interested in creating a team for Project Kickball or would like more information about the event, contact Phi Epsilon Kappa’s Philanthropy Chair, Nguyen Nguyen at n_nguyen55@u.pacific.edu

PHYSICAL THERAPY NEWS

Congratulations to Dr. Simone Gingras (left) on becoming the first brother of Phi Epsilon Kappa to obtain her DPT degree. Simone was a member of the Alpha class of Phi Epsilon Kappa.
Phi Epsilon Kappa would also like to congratulate brothers Irena, Maddie, Jenn and Carlos as they are finishing up their first month of physical therapy school across the bridge. They are the ultimate example of hard work paying off.

BROTHER OF THE MONTH

Congratulations to Peter Nguyen on being named Brother of the Month for the month of September! Peter recently spearheaded a very successful week of recruitment and handled his duties as Recruitment Chair masterfully. His innovative ideas and commitment to excellence make him a worthy candidate.
